If you're my Facebook friend, you may know that a few years ago, I started keeping track of how many books I read a year. I did that to extrapolate how many books I've read in my life, but I've kept doing it because it's so fun to track what I've read and make a best-of list at the end of the year. So to start, the reading stats from 2018:

  • Reading count: 91 books

  • Reading goal: read more non-fiction to try to like it more

  • Things learned:

    • Audiobooks provide great entertainment while commuting and running

    • I still don't really like non-fiction

Annnnnnd here are my best-of 2018 reading recommendations!

  • The Hero's Guide to Saving your Kingdom by Christopher Healy

  • A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

  • Wild Bird by Wendelin Van Draanen

  • Far From the Tree by Robin Benway

  • Renegades by Marissa Meyer

  • A Week of Mondays by Jessica Brody

  • Where There's Hope by Elizabeth Smart

  • Save the Date by Morgan Matson

  • Educated by Tara Westover
